Museo d'Arte della Svizzera Italiana - LAC, Palazzo Reali: the Museo d’arte della Svizzera italiana, Lugano born by the merging between the Museo Cantonale d’Arte and the Museo d’Arte di Lugano. In LAC the exhibitions focus on modern and contemporary art, whilst in Palazzo Reali - historical site of the Museo Cantonale d’Arte - art works are presented in a range that goes from early 15th to the middle of the 20th century.

Museum of Cultures: the Museum of Cultures changes its seat ten years after its relaunching and the realisation of 81 temporary exhibitions and 62 publications. The Library and the Documentation center however are open during the preparations for the move. Current events and seminaries are updated on the Museum’s website.

Museum Hermann Hesse: dedicated to this great writer Nobel Prize who had chosen to live in this land that had become his home.

Cantonal Museum of Natural History: an overview of the different natural components found in the region: great environment reconstruction (dioramas) are animals and plants more significant, while certain sections are devoted to rocks, minerals and fossils, including the famous reptiles of Monte San Giorgio.
