Via Nassa

Via Nassa is one of Lugano’s historical streets - its particular and sophisticated shops will accompany you in your shopping. Under the 270 meter long, ancient city porticoes on the lakeshore, there are many different kinds of shops: jewellery, clothing, gastronomy and anntique shops are just some of the many, without forgetting a few department stores as well.

Via Nassa, Lugano’s number one shopping destination, accompanies you during your shopping outings with its elegant and sophisticated atmosphere.

The market of Lugano

The Lugano market offers the typical food products of small farmers that sell their goods directly. The market takes place in the city centre and may be reached with any means of public transportation.

The Lugano farmers’ market is a wonderful place to scour for local product, flowers, eggs, cheese, cold cuts and preserves. The market is open on the streets in the city center from 7 to 12 on Tuesdays and Fridays.

Via Cattedrale

This area has its own special atmosphere: it is typically Ticinese and is very lively thanks to a multitude of small boutiques that are lined up on both sides of the streets. Salita Chiattone and Via Cattedrale join at the top, near the San Lorenzo Cathedral, and they’re within a short walking distance. Here you’ll also find Via Bertaccio where many other shops await you.
